A Little Bit of Holiday Spirit

I saw the most beautiful video the other day, a commercial by Sainsbury. One I couldn't help but to share with our readers. I know this post is slightly far off from the typical fashion and lifestyle I currently showcase on the blog. Although, If you know me personally, I am someone who has always had the upmost interest in history... one that escapes me for words really. When I saw this video i felt a sense of warmth over my heart. Tears streamed down my face, but for the first time in awhile, they were happy ones. I was watching something before my eyes about war and death that didn't end in depression. If you know the history of WW1, around Christmas time, British and German soldiers ceased fire along the Western Front. Celebrating and exchanging songs in their trenches, all that was fought over would soon dissipate into laughter. I couldn't be more blessed with the reminder of how one message can make a difference. One person's idea can recreate hope, and one's perspective can alter the fate of war. As escaping world issues becomes more difficult, its moments like these which will become the foundation of a better world. So go take a look and share the positive message as you please.
