5 NYFW Trends Totally Suitable for Fall
The NYFW buzz has finally come to an end... trust me, I would know. Stalking instagram and snapchat has not only made me absolutely miserable but very up-to-date with next Spring's fashion trends.
Runway attire usually falls into one of two categories:
The absolutely gorgeous pieces of artwork which are way to risky for the streets,
or
Next seasons hottest pieces you won't be able to get your hands off of... And this years trends definitely landed in the ladder of the two. Whether you like it or not, the rebirth of the 70's style we've been seeing is here to stay.. and with some clever styling tips these pieces will be walking off the runway & into the streets.
What's great about vintage trends, is that we all already have a couple of these pieces (or at least mom does). Now it's time to add to the collection and put a modern twist on your relaxed robes and off-the-shouldr dresses.
The Wider, The Better
The trend of the past is becoming a prominent style of the future. If this season's runways indicated anything... it was the death of the skinny jean. Look forward to slipping in to something slouchy and stylish... revolutionizing the wide leg pant, prepare to see baggy jeans, culottes and flare jeans.
The T-Shirt Dress
The t-shirt dress is a classic essential! Easy to throw on and style in a number of different ways. This is a piece you'll be wearing all year long. For warmer days, pair with cute booties and a belt; In the fall toss on a cool pair of tailored pants for more of a dramatic look.
Free the shoulder
It's official, shoulders are sexy. From halter tops to cute spaghetti straps it's time to let those babies out. Deep cleavage and long legs have had their time to shine... This is the new body part to share with the world.
Old School Overalls
My favourite trend this season, would be the return of overalls. I swear, If I could wear my overalls everywhere I would... And now I can. With vintage styled jumpsuits coming back into fashion all new styles will be popping up everywhere. What overalls will define your style this season?
Fringe
More is more this year.... With 70's trends standing strong, theres no surprise designers have jumped on this band wagon. While we've already seen fridge appearing on bags, skirts and kimonos, their putting this stuff on almost anything.
Until Next Time,
