La La Land
Hey babes,
I'm back from LA and really sad to say so. After only a few days of living life by the beach, I realized how ready I am to move out there. It’s always been a dream of mine to live in California, but now I'm ready to make it a reality.
Before leaving for my trip, I had the opportunity to stop by Toronto's Premium Outlets in Halton Hills. I, of course stocked up on travel essentials, scooping up this awesome leather bag and hat from Aldo for a mere $70; They became some of the hottest travel items during my trip.
With over 80 stores to check out, shop from a variety of brands like Cole Haan, Ralph Lauren, Nike & more.
I had the pleasure of travelling with Canada’s own, Mr. World Wide. Most of you probably know him as Anthony Turano, renowned fashion photographer from Montreal. Shooting for some of our favourite brands like Garage, The Hudson's Bay, Levi's and more, be sure to follow his youtube channel for all behind the scenes access.
During our first two days in LA, I had the pleasure of assisting Anthony for designer Calla Blanche. This talented design duo from Toronto crafts both high end wedding and prom dresses so beautiful I only wish I knew about them sooner.
From rocky Malibu beach backdrops to surfer dudes by Venice boardwalk, take a sneak peak at Calla Blanche's new look book coming soon.

After two full days of hard work, contemplating another shoot and driving all the way up to Hollywood, we of course ended up at Universal Studio's instead. With two big Jurassic Park fans and one Harry Potter fool, we just about lost our shit.
I mean, I could tell you all about it, share with you the magical experience of Wisteria Lane, warn you on how wet you get in WaterWorld and what it's like to meet face-to-face with KING-KONG... But the video will make you that much more jealous.
Our last few days we focused on setting up a couple of creatives while still in LA... When in Rome am I right?
Shooting with some of LA's finest, I fan girl'd pretty hard when I found out we were working with America's Next Top Model, Delanie Dischert. As soon as this bombshell walked in, I immediately saw it: 'Girl Next Door Takes The Beach". While mixing and matching cute with sexy, check out the full editorial now featured in Division Magazine.
We even got to take a road trip to the past, with Toronto's own Kelleth Cuthbert. Using Venice Beach vintage vibes to our advantage we played with 70's inspired pieces from Fidelity Denim, Free People, Elle Mairco and more. A trend we really don't expect to die down anytime soon!
Be sure to check out the full spread for Road Trippin' here.
So after 6 full days, 4 different shoots and making hundreds of new friends, it's official, LA is definitely my calling.
Don't worry you guys, you'll see me back sooner than later.
Until Next Time,
Double Tee's
